  • Resumen
    • The authors comment a recent book by Umberto Romagnoli, containing the scientific biography of fifteen Italian labour-lawyers of the nineteenth century. Balandi offers an overview of the whole volume and of its possible use as a source of didactic readings. Scarponi analyses the portrait of the so-called Bologna school – the same academic group of author and commentators – that emerges from the biographies of three scholars like Mancini, Ghezzi and Biagi, underlining its pluralistic attitude. Mariucci, eventually, reflects on the present state of the art in labour law, considering how work has changed in the last decays under the pressure of globalized “laissez-faireµ and how it has lost its capacity of being considered holder of political and civic values.
