    Este artículo se centra en el autor francés David Sala, y en su obra Le poids des héros. A pesar de ser nieto de dos exiliados que vivieron la Guerra Civil y la Segunda Guerra Mundial, empezó a interesarse por este tema poco antes de cumplir los cincuenta años. A través del análisis de esta obra, mostraremos cómo el autor utiliza el lenguaje del cómic para enfrentarse al legado de la memoria familiar y garantizar su transmisión a través de la escritura gráfica de la memoria.

    This article focuses on the French author David Sala, and his work Le poids des héros. Despite being the grandson of two exiles who lived through the Civil War and the Second World War, he only became interested in this subject shortly before his fiftieth birthday. Through the analysis of this work, we will show how the author uses the language of comics to confront the legacy of family memory and ensure its transmission through the graphic writing of memory.
