    Introducción: Una de las profesiones más demandantes es la docencia, en donde se muestran porcentajes altos de Burnout, estrés, frustración y/o agotamiento, esto muchas veces no solo perjudica al docente, sino que también se ven involucrados los estudiantes al no recibir una adecuada atención, generando en muchos de ellos un rezago educativo. Por lo cual, el objetivo de la investigación fue Medir el grado de frustración que experimentan los docentes de educación primaria en el ámbito rural y su impacto en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes a través de una investigación cuantitativa de corte transversal, utilizando el test de burnout de Maslach y una entrevista sociodemográfica aplicada a 6 docentes de educación primaria rural.

    One of the most demanding professions is teaching, where high percentages of Burnout, stress, frustration and exhaustion are shown. This often not only harms the teacher, but also the students are involved by not receiving adequate attention, generating in many of them an educational lag. Therefore, the objective of the research was to measure the degree of frustration experienced by primary education teachers in rural areas and its impact on the academic performance of students through a cross-sectional quantitative investigation, using the Maslach burnout and a sociodemographic interview applied to 4 primary education teachers.
