    El objetivo del estudio fue comprender cómo se representa la experiencia del duelo en memorias literarias sobre pérdidas disruptivas marcadas por la violencia y explorar la función de la escritura en la elaboración de dicho duelo. A partir de la interpretación de Cómo maté a mi padre de Sara Jaramillo Klinkert, este artículo se enfoca en el duelo por homicidio. El método utilizado fue biográfico-narrativo, con enfoque hermenéutico y estrategias de investigación documental. Los resultados muestran la complejidad de un duelo que marcó la infancia de la autora con la disrupción de esta muerte, la confrontación con la destructividad del semejante, la conciencia de la vulnerabilidad, y la fractura de los referentes previos. Se concluye que la escritura media en el proceso de duelo al movilizar el trabajo narrativo del pasado herido, rescatar al padre del olvido forzado y reubicar el vínculo en el ámbito de la memoria escrita.

    This study aimed to understand how mourning is represented in literary memoirs on disruptive losses marked by violence and to explore the role writing plays in the grieving process. Based on the interpretation of Sara Jaramillo Klinkert’s memoir How I Killed My Father, this article focuses on mourning after a homicide. The employed method was biographical-narrative, with a hermeneutic approach, and documentary research strategies. Results show the complexity of the mourning that marked the author’s childhood because of the disruptiveness of death, the confrontation with the destructiveness of another person, the awareness of vulnerability, and the fracture of previous referents. It is concluded that writing mediates the grieving process by mobilizing the narrative work of the wounded past, rescuing the father from forced oblivion, and relocating the bond in the realm of written memory.
