We will sketch the portraits of eight Jesuit missionaries of the Old Society of Jesus in Latin America, born in Villafranca del Bierzo (Spain), and the 17 Ignatian missionaries who, coming from different regions of Spain, joined the Province of Castile and worked in the College of St. Ignatius of Villafranca, the only one established in the Diocese of Astorga, when, in April 1767, they were exiled to Italy. We will follow their footsteps in their prolonged exile, where almost all of them died
