    El alto índice de reprobados en Matemática y Estadística a nivel superior nos motivó a presentar un método de enseñanza basado en las futuras profesiones que han de ejercer los estudiantes, de esto trata el argumento interpretativo. Los grupos de trabajo estuvieron representados por: a) tres grupos a nivel de Licenciatura y b) dos a nivel de postgrado.

    El estudio se dividió en tres fases: de Diseño, de Validación y de Análisis. Finalmente se lograron realizar dos evaluaciones de competencias: la autoevaluación de competencias del docente y la evaluación de competencias del estudiante cuyos resultados fueron favorables en ambos niveles de enseñanza.

    The high rate of failure in Mathematics and Statistics motivated us to present a teaching method based on the future professions that students will have to perform. This is what the interpretive argument is about. The working groups were represented by three groups   at the Bachelor's level and two at the graduate level. The study was divided into three phases: Design, Validation and Analysis. Finally, two competency evaluations were carried out: the self-evaluation of teaching competences and the evaluation of student competences whose results were favorable in both groups.
