  • Con menos énfasis en el castigo y más énfasis en la reparación, la justicia restaurativa ve el crimen como un conflicto que debe resolverse con la ayuda de la víctima, el infractor y la red de apoyo a la víctima. El delincuente acepta la responsabilidad por el crimen que cometió, reconoce las consecuencias de sus acciones y accede a reparar mientras la víctima afirma su lugar en la comunidad. Dada nuestra interconexión, se trata de la justicia que ayuda a la pacificación social y fomenta la recomposición del tejido social.

    With less emphasis on punishment and more emphasis on reparation, restorative justice views crime as a conflict that must be resolved with the help of the victim, the offender, and the victim's support network. The offender accepts responsibility for the crime they committed, acknowledges the consequences of their actions, and agrees to make amends while the victim asserts their place in the community. Given our interconnectedness, it is about justice that helps social pacification and promotes the recomposition of the social fabric.
