Resumen de Estrategias de educación ambiental desarrolladas en el proyecto "Construccion de un puente sobre el canal en el sector atlantico"

  El plan de educación ambiental busca minimizar el impacto ambiental capacitando a los colaboradores y así poder tener un balance entre el desarrollo y la conservación de los recursos naturales por medio de capacitaciones a los trabajadores del proyecto como inducciones y charla corta, desarrollar materiales didácticos de los temas del Programa de Educación Ambiental (PEA). Considerando lo mencionado el objetivo fue aplicar el programa de educación ambiental para que adquieran mayor sensibilidad y conciencia sobre el cuidado del ambiente. Los resultados destacaron la importancia del PEA logrando elevar el nivel de conocimiento e información, de sensibilización y concienciación por parte de los colaboradoresmotivándolos al cambio de actitudes frente a problemáticas ambientales.

  Puente Atlántico, SA (PASA) is currently the contractor of the project "Construction of the bridge over the canal in the Atlantic sector", whose sponsor is the Panama Canal Authority (ACP). PASA believes that environmental management is essential in all its activities. Thus environmental education strategy developed is implemented to avoid possible environmental impacts taking into account prevention and mitigation implemented within the project. The Environmental Management System aims to educate and raise awareness among project workers to enable them to comply with environmental protection measures, guided by the framework of environmental sustainability set by the International Finance Corporation and the Environmental Impact Study Category III.The environmental education plan seeks the form of minimizing the environmental impact training employees so they can have a balance between development and conservation of natural resources. It was to apply the training of project workers as inductions and short talk, develop teaching materials of subjects Environmental Education Program (PEA). Considering the above, the objective was to apply the environmental education program to acquire greater sensitivity and awareness about caring for the environment. The results highlighted the importance of achieving PEA raise the level of knowledge and information, sensitization and awareness by motivating employees to changing attitudes towards environmental issues.
