Resumen de El cuerpo fragmentado como lugar de la autoficción en "En proceso" de Andrea Chapela

El género de ciencia ficción representa escenas que en el siglo xix parecían lejanas e incluso inconcebibles para el ser humano, sin embargo, estos escenarios ya eran parte de la literatura, gracias a la creación de mundos distópicos en historias como Frankenstein o El moderno Prometeo de Mary Shelley, Viaje al centro de la Tierra de Julio Verne o La guerra de los mundos de H. G. Wells, por mencionar algunos. Andrea Chapela con su libro Ansibles, perfiladores y otras máquinas de ingenio expone diferentes historias en las que la tecnología es el contexto futurista de personajes que muestran la complejidad del ser humano. En este trabajo se examina el cuento “En proceso”, el cual es un relato breve que utiliza la autoficción como elemento estructural de la diégesis, pero también es la representación del cuerpo fragmentado del personaje. Asimismo, se presenta a la memoria y la dicotomía vida-muerte como unidades de configuración de la escritura del yo.

The science fiction genre represents scenes that in the 19th century seemed distant and inconceivable for the human beings, however, these scenarios were alredy part of literature, thank to the creation of dystopian worlds, for example in Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley, Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne or The War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells, to mention a few. Andrea Chapela with her book Ansibles, perfiladores y otras máquinas de ingenio exposes different stories in which technology is the futuristic context of characters that show the complexity of the human being. This paper examines “En proceso”, wich is a short story that uses autofiction as a structural element of the plot, but it is also the representation of the fragmented body of the character. Likewise, memory and the life-death dichotomy are pretend as units of configuration of the writing of the self.
