Evaluación del Confort Térmico en El Edificio Administrativo del Instituto Superior Tecnológico Tsa’chila, Santo Domingo 2023

    Se realizo una investigación cuyo propósito fue evaluar el confort térmico en el edificio de oficinas de docentes del Instituto Superior Tecnológico Tsachila, se aplicó un diseño de investigación de campo donde participaron 50 docentes durante la jornada de trabajo, a quienes se aplicó una encuesta subjetiva para medir la percepción del confort térmico y además se estableció un proceso de cálculo para la toma de temperatura y posterior cálculo de los índices PMV y PPD de acuerdo a las directrices de la norma UNE EN ISO 7730:2006 para determinar el bienestar térmico general del cuerpo. Los resultados evidenciaron personas insatisfechas con la sensación térmica general del cuerpo y solo un área con condiciones confortables. Por tanto, se concluyó que en los puntos de medición en los puntos 1, 2 y 3 se presentan PMV’s que en consecuencia equivalen a tener más de 20% de personas insatisfechas con la sensación térmica general del cuerpo en cada punto de medición, estando lejos de lo que recomienda la norma de referencia, misma que indica que el porcentaje máximo de personas insatisfechas sea del 15%, finalmente se propone medidas enfocadas a adaptar la temperatura local del aire y medidas de control individual.

    An investigation was carried out whose purpose was to evaluate thermal comfort in the teacher office building of the Tsachila Higher Technological Institute, a field research design was applied where 50 teachers participated during the work day, to whom a subjective survey was applied to measure the perception of thermal comfort and in addition a calculation process was established for taking temperature and subsequent calculation of the PMV and PPD indices according to the guidelines of the UNE EN ISO 7730:2006 standard to determine the general thermal well-being of the body. . The results showed people dissatisfied with the general thermal sensation of the body and only one area with comfortable conditions. Therefore, it was concluded that at the measurement points at points 1, 2 and 3, PMV's are presented which are consequently equivalent to having more than 20% of people dissatisfied with the general thermal sensation of the body at each measurement point, being far from than what the reference standard recommends, which indicates that the maximum percentage of dissatisfied people is 15%, finally measures are proposed focused on adapting the local air temperature and individual control measures.
