Factores Asociados a los Niveles de Transformación Digital de la Práctica Docente en la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa

    La práctica docente mediada por las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) es actualmente un tema de investigación muy relevante, pues los cambios que éstas han provocado en todos los ámbitos son evidentes. En el campo educativo, organismos y asociaciones nacionales e internacionales recomiendan a las Instituciones de Educación Superior, avanzar en sus procesos de transformación digital. El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue analizar los factores asociados a los niveles de transformación digital de la práctica docente en la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa. Se implementó una metodología cuantitativa en la que se diseñó y aplicó una encuesta a 1030 profesores; con un nivel de confianza del 99% y un margen de error de 2.75%. Se encontró que 76.3% de los docentes se encuentran distribuidos en los niveles de Adaptación, Apropiación e Innovación, según el Modelo Adell; que un 80.3% tienen una actitud positiva hacia las TIC y; que el 57.4% califican el factor institucional de “muy deficiente” a “regular”. Los hallazgos mostraron también, que existe asociación entre las variables sociodemográficas edad y grado académico, así como la de Actitud TIC y el Factor institucional con los niveles de transformación digital de la práctica docente.

    Teaching practice mediated by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is currently a very relevant research topic, since the changes that these have caused in all areas are evident. In the educational field, national and international organizations and associations recommend that Higher Education Institutions advance in their digital transformation processes. The main objective of this research was to analyze the factors associated with the levels of digital transformation of teaching practice at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa. A quantitative methodology was implemented in which a survey was designed and applied to 1030 teachers; with a confidence level of 99% and a margin of error of 2.75%. It was found that 76.3% of teachers are distributed at the levels of Adaptation, Appropriation and Innovation, according to the Adell Model; that 80.3% have a positive attitude towards ICT and; that 57.4% rate the institutional factor from "very deficient" to "regular." The findings also showed that there is an association between the sociodemographic variables age and academic degree, as well as ICT Attitude and the Institutional Factor with the levels of digital transformation of teaching practice.
