Análisis de las Metodologías de Auditoría Operacional en Norte y Latino América

    La Auditoría Operacional (AO) es aquella que se enfoca en el cumplimiento de objetivos de las organizaciones y como las operaciones llevadas a cabo fortalecen a las mismas. La AO se presenta como el medio para identificar el nivel de cumplimiento de objetivo de las organizaciones, de ahí la importancia de retomar esta práctica, puesto que contribuye a que la direccion general o la parte directiva reconozca las áreas de mejora existenten dentro de su operativa y el medio para subsanarlas. En el contienente americano, varios paises expresan información sobre la metodología para realizar el encargo, por ello, este trabajo consistió en un análisis de las metodologías de Auditoria Operacional existentes dentro de las regiones de norte y latino america para su comparación y detectar sus similitudes y diferencias. Se recolectó información de países que presenten datos y metodologías relacionada a este tipo de Auditoría, así como las etapas que se deben seguir para realizar el encargo del trabajo dentro de las organizaciones, los paises que presentan informacion al respecto fueron: México, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Colombia, Argentina y Estados Unidos. Los resultados a modo de analisis muestran similtudes en el proceso de Auditoría Operacional de los países, donde se destacan de manera general que todas presentan una planificación, una ejecución y un informe, destacando que algunos anexan etapas complementarias, la que mayoritariamente presenta etapas es Argentina y Estados Unidos (7), las que presentan menos etapas son nicaragua y colombia (3), este analisis permite al ejecutor del trabajo adoptar la que crea conveniente basado en las necesidades de las organizaciones. La metodologia utilizada fue cualitativa al realizar una revisión documental que permitió reflexionar y analizar a los países que se manejan dentro de su información a la Auditoría Operacional.

    The Operational Audit (OA) is one that focuses on the fulfillment of the organizations' objectives and how the operations help  strengthen them. The AO is presented as the means to identify the level of compliance with the objectives of the organizations, hence the importance of resuming this practice, since it contributes to the general management or the management part recognizing the areas of improvement that exist within their operations. and the means to correct them. In the American continent, several countries express information about the methodology to do  the assignment, therefore, this work consisted of an analysis of the existing Operational Audit methodologies within the regions of North and Latin America for comparison and to detect their similarities and differences. Information was collected from countries that present data and methodologies related to this type of Audit, as well as the stages that must be followed to carry out the work assignment within the organizations. The countries that present information in this regard were: Mexico, Nicaragua, Bolivia , Colombia, Argentina and the United States. The results as an analysis show similarities in the Operational Audit process of the countries, where it is generally highlighted that they all present planning, execution and a report, highlighting that some add complementary stages, the one that mostly presents stages is Argentina and the United States (7), those with the fewest stages are Nicaragua and Colombia (3), this analysis allows the executor of the work to adopt the one they deem appropriate based on the needs of the organizations. The methodology used was qualitative when carrying out a documentary review that allowed reflection and analysis of the countries that are handled within their information to the Operational Audit.
