Contenido de fenoles totales y capacidad antioxidante in vitro del zumo de "pur pur" Passiflora tripartita var. mollissima (Passifloraceae)

    El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar el contenido de fenoles totales y la capacidad antioxidante del zumo de "pur pur" Passiflora tripartita var. mollissima (Passifloraceae). Los fenoles totales se obtuvieron por extracción en reflujo con etanol de 50° GL, la cuantificación se realizó por el método de Folin Cicalteau y la capacidad antioxidante in vitro se determinó por el método de DPPH mediante espectrofotometría UV-visible. Los resultados reportaron un contenido de fenoles totales de 17,23 ± 0,07 g ac. tánico/100 g extracto seco y la capacidad antioxidante con un valor de IC50 es 10,53 ug/uL en ensayo DPPH del zumo del fruto de "pur pur" Passiflora tripartita var. mollissima (Passifloraceae).

    The objective of the study was to determine the content of total phenols and the antioxidant capacity of the juice of "pur pur" Passiflora tripartita var. mollissima (Passifloraceae). The total phenols were obtained by extraction under reflux with ethanol of 50° GL, the quantification was performed by the Folin Cicalteau method and the in vitro antioxidant capacity was determined by the DPPH method by UV-visible spectrophotometry. The results reported a content of total phenols of 17.23 ± 0.07 g tannic ac./100 g dry extract and the antioxidant capacity with an IC50 value is 10.53 ug/uL in DPPH assay of fruit juice of "pur pur" Passiflora tripartita var mollissima (Passifloraceae).
