Las obras cinematográficas firmadas por mujeres sobre narrativas de temática lésbica tienden a quedarse en la periferia del cine más indie. Durante la última década, un grupo de mujeres norteamericanas han conseguido crear una tétrada para producir numerosos títulos altamente conocidos entre la comunidad LGTBQ+ y que han actuado como grandes referentes. Raven’s Touch (2015) dirigida por Dreya Weber y Marina Rice Bader, relata el viaje de sanación y transformación de Raven (Dreya Weber) tras un traumático accidente de coche al encontrarse con Kate (Traci Dinwiddie), una madre que acampa en el monte junto a la ermitaña cabaña de Raven. El filme tiene una mirada puramente femenina para hablar de la sanación, lo traumático, el amor y la sexualidad. Además, lo escopofílico deja hueco a lo háptico y la imagen refleja desde la textura y la textualidad la construcción del amor y de los personajes. Esta investigación propone el análisis del filme desde los recursos expresivos y narrativos para la construcción del amor y de sus personajes desde su herencia del locus amoenus sáfico y la tactilidad de las imágenes en lo háptico en relación con la mirada femenina. Los objetivos principales son: analizar el lenguaje audiovisual para mostrar las estrategias discursivas de la enunciación para posicionarse ante lo lésbico y analizar como el filme hereda el imaginario sáfico para construir el lugar idílico para el amor a través del plano. En el marco teórico estudiaremos la herencia del personaje lésbico en el cine independiente y como este ayuda a asentar arquetipos lésbicos para el mainstream.

Women's films about lesbian-themed narratives tend to remain on the periphery of indie cinema. Over the last decade, a group of North American women have managed to create a tetrad to produce numerous titles that are well known among the LGTBQ+ community and that have become major references. Raven's Touch (2015) directed by Dreya Weber and Marina Rice Bader, relates Raven's (Dreya Weber) journey of healing and transformation after a traumatic car accident as she encounters Kate (Traci Dinwiddie), a mother who is camping in the woods next to Raven's hermitage cabin. The film takes a purely feminine gaze to talk about healing, trauma, love and sexuality. Moreover, the scopophilic leaves room for the haptic and the image reflects the construction of love and the characters through texture and textuality. This research proposes the analysis of the film from the expressive and narrative resources for the construction of love and its characters from its inheritance of the Sapphic locus amoenus and the tactility of the images in the haptic in relation to the female gaze. The main objectives are: to analyse the audiovisual language to show the discursive strategies of the enunciation to position itself before the lesbian and to analyse how the film inherits the Sapphic imaginary to construct the idyllic place for love through the shot. In the theoretical framework we will study the inheritance of the lesbian character in independent cinema and how this helps to establish lesbian archetypes for the mainstream.
