Resumen El objetivo fue determinar como el teletrabajo y la adaptabilidad al cambio digital funcionan en el servicio de un área. Se tomó, para la investigación, la Afiliación y Control Técnico en el proceso de Promoción y Asesoría (afiliaciones voluntarias e independientes) en el Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social, Provincia de Manabí, enmarcada por la crisis sanitaria por la pandemia del COVID 19. Se utilizaron herramientas metodológicas, tales como: el diagrama de procesos de servicio As/Is; el estudio de tiempo con la fotografía detallada individual, y el cuestionario que evaluó la adaptabilidad al cambio. Los resultados reflejan un aprovechamiento de la jornada laboral en un 100% y un desbalance en los procesos, pues se emplean más horas del horario laboral establecido (horas extra), afectando el bienestar de sus trabajadores. Se concluye que la innovación tecnológica favorece la productividad con el teletrabajo.
Abstract The objective was to determine how teleworking and adaptability to digital change work in the service of an area. For the investigation, the Affiliation and Technical Control in the Promotion and Consulting process (voluntary and independent affiliations) at the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security, Manabí Province was taken, framed by the health crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They used methodological tools, such as the As/Is service process diagram; the study of time with the individual detailed photograph, and the questionnaire that evaluated the adaptability to change. The results reflect a 100% use of the working day and an imbalance in the processes since more hours are used than the established working hours (overtime), affecting the well-being of its workers. It is concluded, that technological innovation favors productivity with teleworking.
