Evolución de la logística de la última milla. Revisión de la literatura

    RESUMEN Los grandes cambios globales han producido diversas transformaciones en las diferentes áreas del mercado, especialmente en la logística de distribución. A través de una revisión bibliográfica sobre la Logística de Última Milla (LUM), se analizaron los cambios que han permeado esta disciplina durante 2010-2022, y qué tipo de temas o investigaciones se han desarrollado en torno a este tema. Se utilizó la base de datos Web of Science (WOS), analizando la línea de tendencia de las investigaciones publicadas, teniendo en cuenta cuatro variables en la LUM: año de publicación, artículos más citados, instituciones y geografía. Se obtienen los principales elementos de la cuarta revolución industrial y su auge provocado por la pandemia del Covid-19, han ayudado a la evolución de la LUM en los últimos años. Los elementos a destacar de dicha revolución son: robótica, inteligencia artificial y el comercio electrónico.

    ABSTRACT The greatest changes at a global level have produced various transformations in the different market areas, especially in distribution logistics. Through a bibliographic review on Last Mile Logistics (LML), the changes that have permeated this discipline from 2010 to date were analyzed, and what kind of topics or investigations have been developed around this topic. For this review, the Web of Science (WOS) database was used, analyzing the trend line of published research, taking into account four variables in the LML: year of publication, most cited articles, institutions and geography. The results show that the fourth industrial revolution with its elements of robotics and artificial intelligence, electronic commerce and its boom caused by covid 19, are the main elements that have helped the evolution of the LML in recent years.
