Enclaves al aire libre, como los del Parque Cultural de Albarracín, que pertenecen a la Lista de PatrimonioMundial de la UNESCO, conforman un núcleo excepcional de arte rupestre en el levante peninsular. Laspinturas forman parte de su entorno, y, por tanto, son vulnerables a diferentes agentes de degradación,como la acción antrópica. Por este agente degradante, la mayoría de los conjuntos son protegidos concerramientos. Gracias a los cinco conjuntos estudiados en este trabajo se ha detectado que loscerramientos actuales requieren una revisión, ya que están afectando considerablemente a la conservaciónde los abrigos y las pinturas. Por tanto, para garantizar la conservación de estos enclaves son necesariasmedidas preventivas y sostenibles que mitiguen el deterioro provocado por esas medidas de protecciónfísica

Open-air sites, such as those in the Albarracín Cultural Park, part of the UNESCO World Heritage List,form an exceptional assemblage of rock art in the east of the Iberian Peninsula. The paintings are part oftheir environment, and are therefore vulnerable to different degradation agents, such as anthropic action.Because of this, most of them are protected by perimeter fences. Thanks to the study of the five ensemblesin this paper, we have seen that current fences require a revision, as they are considerably affecting theconservation of the shelters and paintings. Therefore, in order to guarantee the conservation of these sites,preventive and sustainable measures are needed to mitigate the deterioration caused by these physicalprotection measures
