El objetivo de esta comunicación es presentar algunas reflexiones sobre las implicaciones de las recientesdeclaraciones de la técnica de construcción de la piedra seca como Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial,tomando como caso de estudio la Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón y dentro de ella la comarca deSobrarbe. A partir de este planteamiento se discute la dificultad de separar los aspectos inmateriales deeste conocimiento tradicional de los materiales que constituyen la manifestación física. Se repasansomeramente las tipologías constructivas presentes en esta comarca oscense y se proponen algunas líneasde actuación para su estudio, conservación y difusión en consonancia con los planteamientos de laConvención para la Salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial.

The aim of this presentation is to share some reflections on the implications of the recent declaration asIntangible Cultural Heritage of the dry stone construction technique, taking as a case study the AutonomousCommunity of Aragon, more specifically the region of Sobrarbe. Based on this approach, the difficulty ofseparating the intangible aspects of this traditional knowledge, from the materials that constitute thephysical manifestation is discussed. Constructive typologies in this region of Huesca are briefly reviewed,and some lines of action for their study, conservation and promotion are proposed, in accordance with theproposals of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage
