    El planteamiento para llevar a cabo la rehabilitación de una construcción en desuso que forma parte delpatrimonio industrial de un núcleo urbano en riesgo de despoblación, con imposiciones medioambientales,sociales y de calidad han servido de impulso y de motor económico para el municipio, debido a que eledificio se ha erigido como ejemplo de cómo plantear la transición ecológica e innovadora del entornoconstruido. De esta forma, el proyecto, la obra y su ejecución son sostenibles no solo desde el punto devista medio ambiental, sino también económico.Los retos ambiciosos impuestos de eficiencia energética, de minimización de su impacto medioambientaly de integración social, han permitido lograr la financiación para llevar a cabo su ejecución; ayudas queponen en valor la rehabilitación energética del parque edificatorio e impulsan este tipo de iniciativas.Esta estrategia da viabilidad económica a la iniciativa, no solo para su ejecución, sino para sumantenimiento y explotación, invirtiendo en aquellos aspectos que mejoran objetivamente la calidad de laedificación a largo plazo y minimizan el gasto para que el edificio pueda mantener su normalfuncionamiento sostenido en el tiempo.Así mismo, se invierte en reparar y reutilizar un edificio histórico que puede ayudar a combatir ladespoblación, y a su vez dota a la localidad de nuevos espacios de relación y trabajo, que promueven elempleo y el teletrabajo, la incubación y emprendimiento de proyectos; el arte y la cultura, e incrementanla oferta de turismo del entorno rural

    The plan to undertake the rehabilitation of an out of use building, which is part of the industrial heritagein a town at risk of depopulation, with environmental, social and quality impositions, has served as boostand economic driver for the community. The building has become an example of how to approach theecological and innovative transition of the environment, so that the project, the work and the execution aresustainable not only from the environmental point of view, but also from the economical one.The proposed ambitious challenges about energy efficiency, low environmental impact and socialintegration have allowed to get the funding to conduct the execution; subsidies that highlight theimportance of the energetic rehabilitation of the existing buildings and boost innovative initiatives ofprojects towards the ecological transition. This strategy gives economic viability to the initiative, not only for its execution, but also for its maintenanceand operation, investing in the aspects that objectively improve the long-term quality of buildings andminimize the operational cost so they can remain operative over the time.In addition, energy rehabilitation is an investment to repair and reuse an historical building to fight againstdepopulation, and at the same time it gives the town new spaces for relationships and working, promotingemployment and remote working, the emergence of new projects and art and culture, and increasing thetourism options in the rural environment.
