    En los últimos años, el tema del paisaje ha producido un estado de la cuestión muy complejo, porque existegran cantidad de información en publicaciones, autores, instituciones y organismos. Contexto que defineun asunto que es posible conocer desde disciplinas muy puntuales y sus conjugaciones muchas veces conmayor énfasis en algún contenido o condiciones. El asunto del paisaje, expone niveles primigenios, comofases o niveles estratigráficos, palimpsesto de valores, procesos y fenómenos asociados; además ainterpretaciones diferentes, pasando por las empíricas o científicas con derivaciones disciplinares. Por lotanto, se puede comprender que el paisaje cultural y el paisaje urbano histórico son un “documento” encuanto tienen información general que puede verse desde miradas literarias, poéticas o conjugación deellas como herencia, legado o patrimonio; incluso, encontramos lecturas subjetivas y otras en la búsquedade una interpretación objetiva. El objetivo de este texto es plantear los argumentos para reconocer quedebe mirarse como un documento más que solamente como valor patrimonial, en tanto, depende de lainterpretación disciplinar o interdisciplinar; valores cualitativos y cuantitativos. Los hallazgos permitirántener las herramientas para actuar e interpretar. Las conclusiones permitirán tener herramientas teóricaspara comprender que toda acción sobre el paisaje es evidencia, y como tal nuevas interpretaciones, aménque conserva o altera su valor documental.

    In recent years, the subject of landscape has produced a very complex state of affairs, because there is alarge amount of information in publications, authors, institutions and organizations. This context defines asubject that is possible to know from very specific disciplines and their conjugations many times withgreater emphasis on some content or conditions. The subject of landscape exposes primitive levels, such asphases or stratigraphic levels, palimpsest of values, processes, and associated phenomena; in addition todifferent interpretations, passing through the empirical or scientific ones with disciplinary derivations.Therefore, it can be understood that the cultural landscape and the historical urban landscape are a"document" as they have general information that can be seen from literary, poetic perspectives orconjugation of them as inheritance, legacy or heritage; we even find subjective readings and others in thesearch for an objective interpretation. The objective of this text is to raise the arguments to recognize thatit should be seen as a document rather than only as a patrimonial value, thus, it depends on the disciplinaryor interdisciplinary interpretation; qualitative and quantitative values. The findings will allow us to havethe tools to act and interpret. The conclusions will allow us to have theoretical tools to understand that allaction on the landscape is evidence, and as such it may generate new interpretations, in addition topreserving or altering its documentary value.
