Resumen de El Mediterráneo: identidades, hegemonía y diásporas contemporáneas

El Mediterráneo como espacio intercontinental ha sido, a lo largo de la historia humana, un espacio geográfico donde confluyen muchas culturas, generando un mosaico identitario peculiar en todo el mundo. Actualmente, la brecha a nivel político y económico hace que las dos partes del Mediterráneo se encuentren en posiciones dispares, generando una tensión entre el norte y el sur, y convirtiendo el espacio en una olla de presión que podría explotar en cualquier momento. El tema de la seguridad está tomando una posición relevante, en las relaciones norte-sur del Mediterráneo. Las llegadas masivas de inmigrantes, generadas por la pobreza y los conflictos en el Magreb y el Sahel, están causando un rechazo institucional y social en Europa. Estas diásporas están produciendo una nueva realidad sociocultural y, al mismo tiempo, creando tensiones políticas entre el norte y el sur. En este trabajo, sobre la actualidad, usamos el método analítico y descriptivo, donde incluimos artículos, datos y otros hechos importantes, muy pertinentes para aclarar hechos realizados y otros que estarían presentes para realizarse en el futuro.

The Mediterranean as an intercontinental space has been, throughout human history, a geographical space where many cultures come together, generating a peculiar identity mosaic throughout the world. Currently, the gap at the political and economic level means that the two parts of the Mediterranean are in different positions, which generates a certain tension between the north and the south, turning space into a pressure hole that can explode at any moment. The issue of security is taking a relevant position in North-South Mediterranean relations. The massive arrivals of immigrants, generated by poverty and conflicts in the Maghreb and the Sahel, are generating institutional and social rejection in Europe. These diasporas are producing a new socio-cultural reality, but they are also creating political tensions between the north and the south. In this work, about the present, we use the analytical and descriptive method, where we include articles, data and other important facts, very relevant to clarify facts that have been carried out and others that would be present to be carried out in the future.
