Resumen de Los juristas romanos como inspiradores de los jueces del siglo XXI

El presente trabajo trata de plantear la importancia del método de los juristas romanos en la labor de los jueces del siglo XXI. Así, partiendo de una mirada jurídica distinta a la experimentada en los últimos siglos, el modo de entender el derecho por parte de los iuris prudentes puede ser de gran utilidad e influencia para los magistrados de nuestros tiempos, quienes tienen –conforme va evolucionando la sociedad- tareas cada vez más arduas y complejas. Por ello, este artículo busca hacer un breve recorrido sobre la relevancia de los prudentes del derecho para Roma y, a partir de allí, evidenciar que el derecho romano sigue siendo una fuente de enseñanza ineludible para los juristas actuales, especialmente –en este caso- para aquellos que ejercen la jurisdicción.

this paper aims at displaying the importance of the method of Roman jurists on the activity of the judges from the 21st century. In this way, starting from a juridical view different from the one experienced during the last centuries, the way to understandthe Law on the part of roman jurists may influence and may be of great use for our current magistrates who deal with —pursuant to the evolution of society— harder and more complex tasks. This is why, the purpose of this paper is to make a brief overview of the relevance of roman jurists and, from this position, to demonstrate that roman law is still an unavoidable teaching source for current jurists, especially —in this case— for those who exercise jurisdiction.
