    A proclamación da II República no Val Miñor frustrou aos gobernos locais dos comicios do 12 de abril. O nomeamento das Xestoras Provisionais tivo a súa excepción en Nigrán, onde a autoridade provincial ratificou, non sin queixas, que os monárquicos, agora reconvertidos en novos republicanos, permaneceran no poder municipal. Habería que esperar as eleccións de finais de Maio para que no Val Miñor se instalase definitivamente a República.

    The proclamation of the Second Republic in the Miñor Valley frustrated the local governments of the April 12th elections. The appointment of the Provisional Managers had its exception in Nigrán, where the provincial authority ratified, without any complaints, that the monarchists, now converted into new Republicans, could remain in the municipal power.
