    Due to the accelerated pace of changes caused by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Judiciary Power is challenged to follow these novelties, which have the potential to help the Brazilian justice to deal with its main problems, especially the procedural delay and the excess of expenses. The aim of this article is, therefore, to analyze how the judicial machine has been adapted to the digital reality. From the use of the historical-deductive method and the technique of bibliographic and documentary review, we seek to trace a timeline of the main technological novelties implanted in the Brazilian Judiciary, starting from the 1988 Federal Constitution. The result of the research shows that, at the turn of the century, the Judiciary sought to adapt to this new reality, influenced by the 1988 Constitution as well as the Constitutional Amendment nº 45/2004. It was also identified that Brazilian justice has been seeking to shape the new technological era, especially through the electronic process and artificial intelligence, major milestones of the interaction between the Brazilian Judiciary and Information and Communication Technologies.

    Em virtude do ritmo acelerado das mudanças ocasionadas pela Quarta Revolução Industrial, o Poder Judiciário é desafiado a acompanhar essas novidades, as quais tem o potencial de auxiliar a justiça brasileira a lidar com seus principais problemas, especialmente a morosidade processual e o excesso de gastos. O objetivo do presente artigo consiste, portanto, em analisar de que forma a máquina judiciária vem se adequando à realidade digital. A partir do emprego do método histórico-dedutivo e da técnica da revisão bibliográfica e documental, busca-se traçar uma linha do tempo das principais novidades tecnológicas implantadas no Poder Judiciário brasileiro, tendo como ponto de partida a Constituição Federal de 1988. O resultado da pesquisa evidencia que, já na virada do século, o Poder Judiciário buscou se adaptar a essa nova realidade, influenciado pela Constituição de 1988 bem como pela Emenda Constitucional nº 45/2004. Identificou-se, ainda, que a justiça brasileira vem buscando se moldar à nova era tecnológica, especialmente por meio do processo eletrônico e da inteligência artificial, grandes marcos da interação entre o Poder Judiciário brasileiro com as Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação.
