Resumen de Bagaudas: Análisis histórico de un grupo marginal

Durante los siglos III y V que coinciden con la caída del orden clásico del Imperio romano se ha ido asistiendo a un progresivo declive de las instituciones y del modelo económico. A partir de ello es cuando comienzan a surgir ciertos grupos armados en oposición al status social en el que se encontraban, en un ambiente caracterizado por la inseguridad. En ese tiempo convulso y de férrea autoridad imperial es donde se inicia este proyecto, donde se pretende dar a conocer a cierto grupo de campesinos insurrectos en contra del orden prexistente y en disputa contra el ejército imperial, los bagaudas. A través del conocimiento de ellos, podemos llegar a otras cuestiones de suma importancia como puede ser el análisis de la caída del Imperio, las respuestas organizadas desde Roma para hacer frente a estas sublevaciones y la situación de los campesinos en la Galia entre los siglos III y V. Distintos ámbitos históricos que aportarán nuevos puntos de vista para la historiografía actual.

During the 3rd and 5th centuries, which coincided with the fall of the classical order of the Roman Empire, there was a progressive decline in the established institutions and economic model. It was at this time that certain groups began to emerge in opposition to the social status in which they found themselves, in an atmosphere characterized by insecurity. It is in this time of upheaval and iron imperial authority that this project begins, where the aim is to make known a certain group of insurgent peasants, against the pre-existing order and in dispute against the imperial army, the Bagaudas. Through the knowledge of them, we can reach other extremely important questions such as the analysis of the fall of the Empire, the responses organized from Rome to face these uprisings and the situation of the peasants in Gaul between the 3rd and 5th centuries. Different historical fields that will provide new points of view for current historiography.
