Resumen de «La salamandra»: traduir la violència. Una proposta italiana

  Aquest article conté una traducció italiana inèdita del conegut conte «La salamandra» de Mercè Rodoreda. La traducció, d’autoria col·lectiva, va acompanyada d’un breu estudi introductori («“La salamandra”: traduir la violència») organitzat en tres parts. La primera és un estat de la qüestió sobre la recepció de Rodoreda a Itàlia a partir de les principals operacions editorials i de les traduccions —amb una menció als contes i al que queda tal vegada per fer. La segona es dedica a l’operació de llegir i de traduir un text sobre la violència sexual, tot proposant la categoria del trauma com a lent de lectura de la narració. En la tercera part (de síntesi), recepció, relectura i traducció es recullen com a tres importants fronts, per bé que ara restringits a un petit cas d’estudi, que contribueixen a destriar allò que aquí anomenam «la nova onada Rodoreda, tant en el pla nacional com en l'internacional». Per acabar, s’adjunta un apèndix en forma de relació bibliogràfica amb totes les traduccions italianes de l’obra de Mercè Rodoreda.

  This article contains an original translation into Italian of the well-known short story «La salamandra» by Mercè Rodoreda. The translation, by collective authorship, is preceded by a brief introductory study («“The salamander”: translating violence») organized in three parts. The first is a state of the art of the reception of Rodoreda in Italy through the main publishing operations and translations —with a mention of the short stories and of what remains, perhaps, to be done. The second is devoted to the operation of translating a text about sexual violence, while proposing the category of trauma as a reading key. In the third part (a sort of synthesis), reception, re-reading and translation are put together as three important fronts, although restricted to a small case study, which contribute to describe what we call «the new Rodoreda wave». Finally, there is an appendix in the form of a bibliographic list with all the Italian translations of Mercè Rodoreda’s work.
