Currículo escolar e literatura: entre a necessidade e a possibilidade de experiências literárias

    We proposed reflection on literary reading at school and its relationship with the school curriculum, based on the postulates from Antonio Candido, in the literary field, and Dermeval Saviani, in the pedagogical field. We started with a brief presentation about reading, discussing conceptually what reading is; we presented the reader as an important part in the production of meaning in the face of the human need to signify the world; we expanded the reflection on the relationship between student-reader and literary text; we problematized the relationship between school curriculum and literature. Finally, we presented the need to reflect on the nature of the literary text collectively and its central and effective insertion in the school curriculum. Considering the precious time of classes, we defended that the literary text to be read and analyzed at school should be, above all, one of artistic value.

    A partir dos postulados de Antonio Candido, no campo literário, e de Dermeval Saviani, no campo pedagógico, propomos reflexão sobre a leitura literária na escola e sua relação com o currículo escolar. Partimos de uma breve apresentação sobre leitura, discutindo conceitualmente o que é ler; apresentamos o leitor como parte importante na produção de sentido(s) diante da necessidade humana de significar o mundo; ampliamos a reflexão sobre a relação entre aluno-leitor e texto literário; problematizamos a relação entre currículo escolar e literatura; por fim, apresentamos a necessidade de se refletir coletivamente sobre a natureza do texto literário e a sua inserção nuclear e efetiva no currículo escolar. Considerando o tempo precioso das aulas, defendemos que o texto literário a ser lido e analisado na escola deverá ser, sobretudo, aquele de valor artístico.
