    The French state is playing a particular role in the organisation of the Paris 2024 Games. At the outset of the application procedure, it offered financial guarantees to the organizing committee and assured that it would be in charge of security, but the role it has taken since 2017 in the preparation of this exceptional event goes well beyond its early commitments. Apart from its financial support that remains under control, the entire state administration is being mobilised for the success of the Games, both at the central administrative level and at the prefecture level, in particular in the Île-de-France.

    L’État joue un rôle particulier dans l’organisation des jop 2024. Si, dès la candidature, il a accordé des garanties financières au comité d’organisation ou assuré qu’il prendrait en charge notamment des missions de sécurité, la part qu’il a prise dans la préparation de cet événement exceptionnel depuis 2017 a été bien au-delà de ces premiers engagements. Indépendamment d’un soutien financier qui demeure maîtrisé, c’est toute l’administration qui est mobilisée pour le succès de ces Jeux, tant en administration centrale que dans la réalisation des actions autour des préfectures, particulièrement en Île-de-France.
