The macromonomers alpha - methyl-omega -[ N-(4-vinylbenzyl)piperazine]poly( N-methylethyleneimine), bis[2-(N-[4-vinylbenzylpiperazinyl])-2-butene-poly(N-methylenimine)] and alpha -(1-buten)-omega -[ N-piperidyl]poly( N-methylethylenimine) were obtained by ionic polymerization and subsequent functionalization. The yield of these macromonomers ranged between 40 and 85% These compounds were characterized by size exclusion chromatography (SEC), ¹H and 13C-NMR, and FT-IR spectroscopy
