  Nuestro conocimiento sobre la escritura de mujeres colombianas del siglo XIX es prácticamente inexistente, por lo que urge emprender trabajos como este. En él nos acercamos a las prácticas lingüísticas de una antioqueña de nivel sociocultural medio-alto, a partir del análisis de 60 cartas escritas a su esposo entre 1855 y 1865. El estudio se centra en el nivel gráfico-fonético, atendiendo y comentando la alternancia y variación de grafías empleadas.

  Our knowledge of Colombian women's writing in the 19th century is practically non-existent, which is why it is urgent to undertake work such as this one. In this article, we approach the linguistic practices of an Antioquian woman of medium-high socio-cultural level, based on the analysis of 60 letters she wrote to her husband between 1855 and 1865. The study focuses on the graphic-phonetic level, paying attention to and commenting on the alternation and variation of the used graphs.
