  Introducción: El impacto psicológico que genera una enfermedad crónica en el ciclo vital de los pacientes, y en cierto modo, en el propio curso de la enfermedad, estará relacionado con el tipo de estrategias de afrontamiento ante los miedos, las preocupaciones, los recuerdos negativos, los pensamientos y las sensaciones ante el tratamiento y en relación al futuro. Objetivos: Validar el instrumento cuantitativo para determinar la calidad de vida del paciente con insuficiencia renal crónica que recibe hemodiálisis y Analizar la calidad de vida del paciente con IRC. Materiales y métodos: la presente investigación se realizó mediante la modalidad de estudio cuantitativa, es de corte transversal, de tipo descriptiva. Se trabajó con una muestra piloto de 15 personas, que acudieron a tratamiento de hemodiálisis en los meses de enero a diciembre del 2021 Resultados: Se aplicó el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach que permite identificar la confiabilidad o validez del instrumento a emplearse, se obtiene un resultado de 0.75, es decir una confiabilidad aceptable o buena para su aplicación, según juicio de expertos se obtiene una puntuación de 91,33 considerado como confiable. Conclusiones: Las conclusiones establecidas manifiestan que en el proceso de conllevar esta enfermedad los pacientes, se ven afectado de muchas maneras no solo a nivel físico, sino también a nivel emocional, por ello, los estados emocionales más frecuentes que intervienen son la ansiedad, el estrés y la depresión, además también tienen que ver con los sentimientos, las preocupaciones, que alteran de manera negativa su psiquis y sus emociones, afectando de manera negativa su calidad de vida.

  Introduction: The psychological impact that a chronic disease generates in the life cycle of patients, and in a way, in the course of the disease itself, will be related to the type of coping strategies in the face of fears, worries, negative memories. , thoughts and sensations before the treatment and in relation to the future. Objectives: Validate the quantitative instrument to determine the quality of life of the patient with chronic renal failure receiving hemodialysis and Analyze the quality of life of the patient with CKD. Materials and methods: the present investigation was carried out through the quantitative study modality, it is cross-sectional, descriptive. We worked with a pilot sample of 15 people, who attended hemodialysis treatment in the months of January to December 2021. Results: Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was applied, which allows identifying the reliability or validity of the instrument to be used, a result is obtained. of 0.75, that is, an acceptable or good reliability for its application, according to expert judgment, a score of 91.33 is obtained, considered as reliable. Conclusions: The established conclusions show that in the process of dealing with this disease, patients are affected in many ways, not only physically, but also emotionally, therefore, the most frequent emotional states involved are anxiety, Stress and depression also have to do with feelings, worries, which negatively alter their psyche and emotions, negatively affecting their quality of life.
