    El objetivo fundamental del presente artículo es indagar con mayor profundidad en las investigaciones realizadas en torno a la bioética, disciplina científica que se ocupa de los problemas éticos vinculados con la vida y el medio ambiente. Se ahonda exactamente en su significancia, alcances, su relación con la responsabilidad social en la gestión empresarial y la importancia de su aplicación en la formación de las futuras generaciones de profesionales. Como conclusión principal, se destaca la apremiante necesidad de involucrar esta disciplina en la currícula universitaria como un elemento básico en la formación integral proveyendo así una educación en valores que inculque una cultura de respeto por la vida en todos los aspectos de actuación de sus estudiantes y egresados, así como de sus relaciones con el entorno.

    The main objective of the present article is to examine in depth the investigations generated concerning the bioethics, a scientific discipline that deals with the ethical problems concerning life and environment. We will examine its significance, domain, its relation with the social responsibility in the business management and the importance of its application in the education of the future generations of professionals. As main conclusion, is outlined the crucial need to incorporate this discipline into the university´s curricula as a basic element in the integral education. In this way we will provide an education in values that inculcates a culture of respect for life into all of the aspects of action of its students and thereby in all of their relations with the environment.
