    Se estudia la fábrica de tejas y ladrillos Cerámica Virgen del Carmen, iniciada por José Sánchez Semitiel en 1890 y continuada por sus hijos y nietos hasta 1985 en la ciudad de Cieza. Se pueden ver los inicios de este joven industrial cuando aprende el oficio con su abuelo y sus tíos en la Tejera del Madroñal, las circunstancias que condicionaron esta industria y el desarrollo de la fábrica en manos de sus descendientes. Industria y oficio de tejeros en Cieza del que tenemos noticias desde el siglo XVII hasta finales del siglo XX.

    The Ceramica Virgen del Carmen tile and brick factory is being studied, started by José Sánchez Semitiel in 1890 and continued by his children and grandchildren until 1985 in the city of Cieza. You can see the beginnings of this young industrialist when he learned the trade with his grandfather and his uncles in Tejera del Madroñal, the circumstances that conditioned this industry and the development of the factory in the hands of his descendants.
