Resumen de Etnomedicina zoque en tiempos de pandemia Covid-19

  El trabajo es un estudio antropológico que busca entender, desde un enfoque cualitativo que privilegia la perspectiva de los actores sociales, las percepciones que los zoques católicos tradicionalistas de Chiapas tienen respecto del tratamiento popular de la Covid-19. Nos propusimos conocer la explicación que dan del proceso infeccioso y las fórmulas posibles para disminuir el riesgo de contagio desde los enfoques de la etnomedicina y la fisiología de los sistemas respiratorio y digestivo. De igual manera, se identifica al agente causal que enferma el organismo y la construcción del cuadro clínico, así como las medidas paliativas a seguir una vez que el paciente ha sido infectado. Finalmente nos interesó la forma de prevenir, atender y experimentar el padecimiento, todo a través de testimonios recolectados de manera virtual.

  The work is an anthropological study that seeks to understand, from a qualitative approach that privilege the perspective of social actors, the perceptions of the traditionalist Catholic Zoques of Chiapas and how they explain the Covid-19 pandemic. We set out to know the infectious process and the possible formulas to reduce the risk of contagion from the approaches of ethnomedicine and the physiology of the respiratory and digestive systems. In the same way, the causal agent that makes the organism sick and the construction of the clinical estructure of the desease, as well as the palliative measures. Finally, we were interested in the way to prevent, treat and experience the condition, through testimonies collected virtually.
