The present study arises from the problem around the lack of systematization of research, regarding the theoretical analysis of virtual strategies and reading comprehension in regular basic education during the pandemic. For which, the objective was to analyze the research that revolves around virtual strategies and reading comprehension in regular basic education during the pandemic. To achieve the objective, the methodology of the qualitative approach was followed, with a documentary scope. In addition, thirty-nine investigations were consulted, around the variables of virtual strategies and reading comprehension. Given this, as a result, it was determined that, in Peruvian education, both virtual strategies and reading comprehension in times of pandemic, their level dropped considerably, unlike other Latin American and European contexts. Therefore, it was concluded that virtual strategies should be oriented not only to the achievement of reading comprehension skills, but also to a holistic view of learning, which allows thestudent to have a broader view of reality
