En los últimos años, se ha visto un incremento en la incidencia de espondilodiscitis en nuestro medio. El diagnóstico suele llevar un retraso con la pérdida funcional en el paciente durante el proceso. Existen dudas y falta de consenso en el manejo funcional y rehabilitador de estos pacientes, por lo que se ha intentado en este artículo hacer un repaso de esta patología y proponer un plan de tratamiento.

In recent years there has been an increase in the incidence of patients with spondylodiscitis. The diagnosis usually takes a delay with the loss of function oof the patient during the process. There are doubts and lack of consensus in the functional and rehabilitative management of these patients, which is why an attempt has been made in this article to review this pathology and propose a treatment plan.
