Resumen de Aproximación al exovar y el creix en los Furs de Valencia a tenor de la regulación de la dos en las fuentes romanas

En los Furs de Valencia, de carácter claramente romanizado, se pueden observar en la regulación dedicada al régimen patrimonial del matrimonio una serie de instituciones jurídicas que siguen el citado fundamento, en concreto, se hace referencia al exovar, equivalente a la dos romana; así, podemos ver regulado en el citado cuerpo normativo valenciano una misma institución con dos denominaciones: una foral, exovar, y otra romanista, dot. Por otro lado, cabe destacar la figura del escreix o creix, anexa a la anterior, que añadía un aumento si se cumplían ciertas circunstancias en el matrimonio y que se puede asimilar, aunque es objeto de conflicto, a la donatio propter nuptias romana.

In the Furs of Valencia, of a clearly romanized nature, a series of legal institutions that follow the aforementioned foundation can be observed in the regulation dedicated to the patrimonial regime of marriage, specifically, reference is made to the exovar, equivalent to the Roman dos, as well, we can see regulated in the aforementioned Valencian regulatory body the same institution with two denominations, one foral, exovar, and another romanist, dot. On the other hand, it is worth noting the figure of the escreix or creix, annexed to the previous one, which added an increase if certain circumstances were met in the marriage and which can be assimilated, although it is the subject of conflict, to the Roman donatio propter nuptias.
