This paper examines the utilization and significance of traditional art components from Inner Mongolia within the context of current oil painting instruction and pedagogy. The traditional artistic features of Inner Mongolia encapsulate the fundamental aspects of nomadic culture prevalent in the northern steppe region. These elements encompass distinctive hues, imagery, symbols, metaphors, and other defining traits. The oil painters from Inner Mongolia were driven by a sense of national identity and utilized subjective aesthetics to produce lyrical and nationalized oil paintings. Through their artwork, they showcased the evolution and incorporation of traditional artistic materials. The incorporation of traditional artistic elements from Inner Mongolia, alongside the integration of modern and contemporary painting techniques, represents a significant advancement in artistic vision and a profound spiritual exploration.
