Resumen de Diseño y construcción de un ciclador de baterías

El objetivo del presente trabajo es diseñar y construir un dispositivo “El Ciclador de Baterías” cuya función es cargar y descargar de forma automática y repetidamente una batería y almacenar los datos del voltaje y la intensidad de corriente de la batería en función del tiempo por cada proceso de carga y descarga, con estos datos se puede determinar el estado de carga, la eficiencia coulómbica y la eficiencia energética de la batería. El estado de carga de la batería es un parámetro importante que indica cuanta carga hay disponible en la batería respecto de su capacidad, la estimación precisa del estado de carga de la batería es fundamental en un sistema de gestión de batería, pues permite evitar una sobrecarga o descarga profunda de la batería, condiciones que pueden dañar irreversiblemente la batería.

The objective of the present work is to design and build a device "The Battery Cycler" whose function is to automatically and repeatedly charge and discharge a battery and store the data of the battery voltage and current intensity as a function of time for each charging and discharging process, with these data the state of charge, coulombic efficiency and energy efficiency of the battery can be determined. The state of charge of the battery is an important parameter that indicates how much charge is available in the battery with respect to its capacity, the precise estimation of the state of charge of the battery is essential in a battery management system, as it allows to avoid an overcharge or deep discharge of the battery, conditions that can irreversibly damage the battery.
