Resumen de Caudillos, compañeros y parientes: El PCP-Bandera Roja en Ayacucho a través de la memoria

El presente artículo reconstruye la historia del Partido Comunista Peruano-Bandera Roja en la ciudad de Ayacucho, a partir de los recuerdos personales de sus militantes, que confluyen en una memoria emblemática del grupo político. A través de dichos recuerdos, penetra en la historia del colectivo e identifica su principal característica. Así, Bandera Roja fue en Ayacucho un grupo de amigos, parientes y vecinos agrupados en torno a una ideología, pero sobre todo alrededor de un caudillo o líder carismático que actuaba como padre de una familia con hijos políticos. Dicho colectivo contó con una efímera base campesina y barrial, que se esfumó cuando el partido realizó un viraje ideológico al finalizar la década de 1970, sin poder convertirse en un adecuado canal de intermediación para con el Estado peruano.

This paper reconstructs the history of the Peruvian Communist Party-Red Flag in the city of Ayacucho, from the individual memories of its militants. Individual memories that come together in a sole emblematic memory of the party. Through these memories, this paper penetrates the history of the group and identifies its main characteristic. Thus, in Ayacucho, Red Flag was a group of friends, relatives and neighbors gathered around an ideology but, above all, around a caudillo or charismatic leader who acted as the father of a family with political children. This group had an ephemeral peasant and neighborhood base, which disappeared when the party took an ideological turn at the end of the 1970s, without being able to become an adequate channel of intermediation with the Peruvian State.
