Resumen de Abdullah Öcalan como intelectual orgânico: uma leitura Gramsciana

In this work, we seek to carry out an analysis of the revolutionary Kurdish Abdullah Öcalan, from a Gramscian perspective, in particular, seeking to identify the Kurdish revolutionary as an organic intellectual. To this end, we follow the history and intellectual and militant development of Abdullah Öcalan, since the founding of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party in 1978, in Turkey, following the developments of his performance as general secretary of the organization, and the theoretical transformations he carried out after his prison in 1999. After that, we started to relate the theoretical conceptions of Abdullah Öcalan with the notions of Hegemony and War of Position, defended by the Italian Antonio Gramsci.

Neste trabalho, buscamos realizar uma análise do revolucionário curdo Abdullah Öcalan, a partir de um olhar gramsciano, em especial, buscando identificar o revolucionário curdo como um intelectual orgânico. Para isso, acompanhamos a história e desenvolvimento intelectual e militante de Abdullah Öcalan, desde a fundação do Partido dos Trabalhadores do Curdistão em 1978, na Turquia, seguindo os desenvolvimentos de sua atuação como secretario geral da organização, e as transformações teóricas que realizou após sua prisão em 1999. Após isso, passamos a relacionar as concepções teóricas de Abdullah Öcalan com as noções de Hegemonia e Guerra de Posição, defendidas pelo italiano Antonio Gramsci.
