Neoliberalismo e universidade pública: reflexões acerca da desvalorização do ensino superior público

    This investigation aimed to understand the devaluation of the Public University about the neoliberal conception. We now understand the need for an analysis of the predominant influences on materialized decisions for Higher Education. Thus, in this qualitative, bibliographic and documentary research, we started to problematize the core of the proposals that favor the precariousness of the Public University. During this research activity, we realized that there are intentions to favor private systems and that, to a large extent, these systems are trimmed in public policies. In this way, the reduction of investments for public institutions of Higher Education, taking into account the needs of privatist projects and weakening Public Universities. Finally, it was possible to understand that the discourse generated by the neoliberal conception, is always on the line of attack against the public institution and its defenders, considering that the Public University is an institution representative of the fight against the dominant forces.

    Esta investigação teve como objetivo, compreender a desvalorização da Universidade Pública acerca da concepção neoliberal. Entendemos na atualidade a necessidade de uma análise sobre as influências predominantes nas decisões materializadas para o Ensino Superior. Assim, nesta pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, bibliográfico e documental, passamos a problematizar o cerne das propostas que favorecem a precarização da Universidade Pública. Durante esta atividade de pesquisa, percebemos que existem intenções de favorecer os sistemas privados e que, em grande medida, esses sistemas estão aparados em políticas públicas. Desse modo, a redução de investimentos para as instituições públicas de Ensino Superior atente às necessidades de projetos privatistas e fragilizam as Universidades Públicas. Por fim, foi possível compreender que o discurso gerado pela concepção neoliberal, está sempre na linha de ataque contra a instituição pública e seus defensores, tendo em vista que, a Universidade Pública é uma instituição representativa da luta contra as forças dominantes.
