    The text aims to show, from the writings of Marx of 1850 in Nova Gazeta Renana, the thesis of the ontonegativity of politics, that is, the insufficiency of the political scope for the consignment of social revolution, being reiterated by the important and divisive French historical events of 1848-49 analyzed by the German author. With this, Marx intends to clarify how the apex moment of 1848 consolidated the bourgeois domination on the one hand, while it brought about the loss of political illusions of the French working class with the bourgeois republic as the complete means of its emancipation.

    O texto pretende mostrar, a partir dos escritos de Marx de 1850 na Nova Gazeta Renana, a tese da ontonegatividade da política, isto é, a insuficiência do âmbito político para a consignação revolução social, sendo reiterada pelos importantes e divisores eventos históricos franceses de 1848-49 analisados pelo autor alemão. Com isso, Marx pretende colocar a claro como o momento clímax de 1848 consolidou a dominação burguesa por um lado, ao passo que fez emergir a perda de ilusões políticas da classe operária francesa com a república burguesa como meio cabal de sua emancipação.
