Resumen de Do debate entre Florestan e Guerreiros Ramos à análise dos compêndios de sociologia da década de 1930: alguns apontamentos e possíveis recontextualizações

  The paper pretend to do an analysis of the sociology textbooks of the year 1930, of the authors Delgado de Carvalho and Fernando de Azevedo. The analysis begins with the critique in the First Brazilian Congress of Sociology in 1954 by Guerreiro Ramos to Florestan Fernandes, the last one, ex-orienting of Azevedo. The hypothesis of Ramos is based in the prospect of possible influence of European and North American sociological currents in these manuals, stressing that the Brazilian sociology should abandon the traditionalist character, and claims vices in the methods of foreign sociology, once implanted in Brazil. Although influenced by the positivist current, Fernando de Azevedo recontextualized the thought of it, proposing an autonomous sociology, with transforming character of the local reality. Thus, we must determine, through bibliographic analysis, what extent the criticism made by Ramos regarding the influence of foreign sociology was configured in the textbooks of the year 1930, and the extent to which the current textbooks support in that ideological influences criticized by him.

  O artigo pretende fazer uma análise dos manuais de sociologia dos anos de 1930, dos autores Delgado de Carvalho e Fernando de Azevedo. A análise inicia-se da crítica estabelecida no I Congresso Brasileiro de Sociologia, em 1954, por Guerreiro Ramos à Florestan Fernandes, esse último, ex-orientando de Azevedo. A hipótese de Ramos se baseia na possível influência de correntes sociológicas europeias e norte americana nesses manuais, salientando que a sociologia brasileira deveria abandonar o caráter tradicionalista e alega vícios nos métodos da sociologia estrangeira implantadas no Brasil. Embora influenciado pela corrente positivista, Fernando de Azevedo recontextualizou o pensamento da mesma, propondo uma sociologia autônoma, com caráter transformador da realidade local. Dessa forma, cabe-nos averiguar, através de análises bibliográficas, em que medida a crítica feita por Ramos referente a influência da sociologia estrangeira, se configurava nos compêndios da década de 1930.
