    Thirty years ago, from the perspective of José Chasin (1937-1998), one of the most important moments in the Latin American working-class trajectory took place, configuring a possible overcoming of the colonial path. In this opening of the special section we intend to bring the debate about the labor movement in light of the text by José Chasin, who died exactly ten years ago.

    Há trinta anos ocorreu, na perspectiva de José Chasin (1937-1998), um dos mais importantes momentos da trajetória operária latino-americana, configurando uma possível superação da via colonial. Nesta inauguração da seção especial pretendemos trazer o debate sobre o movimento operário à luz do texto de José Chasin, falecido há exatamente dez anos.
