  En muestras de astillas de Pinus radiata obtenidas en otoño de 1993 en el puerto de San Vicente Chile (VIII Región) se registra la presencia de abundantes microartrópodos, como Collembolla (Entomobryidae), Coleoptera (Staphylinidae, Lathridiidae), Acari (Mesostigmata). Otros Coleoptera (Cryptophagidae y Carabidae), Diptera y Hemiptera, fueron considerados fauna acompañante por el bajo porcentaje de presencias.

  Chips of Pinus radiata were sampled in autumn 1993 in the port of San Vicente Chile (VIII Región). Abundant fauna of microarthropods such as Collembolla (Entomobryidae), Coleoptera (Staphylinidae, Lathridiidae), Acari (Mesostigmata) was recorded. Other Coleoptera (Cryptophagidae and Carabidae), Diptera and Hemiptera were considered attending fauna because of the low percentage of records.
