Aprendizaje del contenido población desde la asignatura Geografía de Cuba en noveno grado

    Esta investigación tiene como punto de partida, el diagnóstico inicial que refleja las deficiencias existentes en los alumnos de noveno grado de la Escuela Secundaria Básica Urbana Carlos Juan Finlay del municipio Primero de Enero en relación a los conocimientos sobre la pirámide poblacional de Cuba en diferentes etapas histórico-sociales, así como en el desarrollo de habilidades para la explicación de los principales indicadores demográficos que sustentan la calidad de vida de la población cubana. El objetivo de la investigación es proponer un sistema de actividades que contribuya al aprendizaje del contenido población en los alumnos de noveno grado desde la Unidad 4 "Desarrollo Social" con el uso de tablas, gráficos y mapas. Para la realización de la investigación se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico como el histórico lógico, el sistémico-estructural-funcional, el analítico-sintético y el inductivo-deductivo y del nivel empírico: la observación, encuestas, pruebas de conocimientos y el criterio de especialistas. Los resultados alcanzados una vez implementados evidenciaron transformaciones positivas en el aprendizaje del contenido población en los alumnos de noveno grado.

    This research has as a starting point, the initial diagnosis that reflects the existent deficiencies in the students of ninth degree of the Urban Basic high school Carlos Juan Finlay of the First municipality of January in relation to the knowledge on the populational pyramid of Cuba in different historical-social stages, as well as in the development of abilities for the explanation of the main demographic indicators that sustain the quality of the Cuban population's life. The objective of the investigation is to propose a system of activities that contributes to the contained population's learning in the students of ninth degree from the Unit 4 Social Development with the use of charts, graphics and maps. For the realization of the investigation methods of the theoretical level were used as the historical one logical, the systemic-structural-functional one, the analytic-synthetic one and the inductive-deductive one and of the empiric level: the observation, surveys, tests of knowledge and the approach of specialists. The results reached once implemented they evidenced positive transformations in the contained population's learning in the students of ninth degree.
