  A partir de la reflexión sobre la noción de identidad tomada de autores diversos como Villoro y Pereda, se recupera el concepto de identidad simbólica de Ortiz-Osés. En este texto se plantean dos ámbitos de identidad, el personal y el comunitario. Este último se considera como construido a partir de la misma comunidad. El replanteamiento del concepto de identidad nos permite abordar un problema de total actualidad en el pensamiento social y político, y a partir de él se repiensa una posible relación con el multiculturalismo.

  After thinking on the idea of identity based in such different authors such as Villoro and Pereda, we recover Ortiz-Osés concept of symbolic identity: In this paper we state two domains of identity: the personal and the communitarian. The former is considered as made up by the same community. The statement of the concept of identity allows us to approach into a problem of great current importance on the social and political thought and, after such a task, to double think the mighty relationship with multiculturalism.
