En este artículo se valora, respecto al tema de la “tradición”, la importancia del aporte de la filosofía de la ciencia pos-empirista y el valor ejemplar de sus reflexiones sobre el concepto de “tradiciones científicas”. Se analizan las posturas relativas a este punto de Popper, Kuhn y Laudan, y se hacen una confrontación con las ideas de Gadamer. El trabajo termina con un comentario de los aportes de Sergio Martínez y Ambrosio Velasco.

This article deals with the topic of tradition and the relevance the philosophy of post-empiric science and the exemplary value of its reflections on the concept of “scientific tradition”. We analyze Popper’s, Kuhn’s and Laudan’s positions on the topic and confront them to Gadamer’s view. The paper concludes with a comment on the contributions of Sergio Martínez and Ambrosio Velasco.
