    En el presente artículo se tratará de reflexionar acerca del estatus ontológico del concepto de identidad personal a partir de las así denominadas propuestas «narrativistas» de los filósofos Daniel Dennett y Clément Rosset. No se pretende tanto abordar la pregunta sobre la existencia última de dicha identidad cuanto hacerse cargo de cómo se nos aparece, las similitudes que presenta el proceso de construcción identitaria con el proceso narrativo y el papel activo tanto de uno mismo como de los demás en su edificación.

    This paper tries to reflect about the ontological status of the concept of personal identity from the perspective of «narrative self-theories» developed by Daniel Dennett and Clément Rosset. The aim of this paper is not trying to provide a final solution for the question of identity's existence, but to show how it appears to us, what things have in common the process of identity construction and the narrative process and the active role of, on the one hand, oneself and, on the other hand, the others in identity's edification.
